Working Hours: 9:30am to 6:30pm
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology awarded by The Institute of Psychosynthesis in affiliation with Middlesex University.
Born and raised in India within the Tibetan diaspora, I grew up in a culture where mindful practice and contemplative traditions were deeply woven into everyday life.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent over twenty years in leadership and directorial roles within the charitable sector, including overseeing a film archive dedicated to preserving Tibetan Buddhist teachings, culture, and heritage through film and video.
My interest in therapy began many years ago through my own experience of being deeply listened to in a safe and non-judgemental space. I saw how therapy could help bring clarity, perspective, and meaningful change, and this inspired me to undertake psychotherapy training myself.
I have had the privilege of training with leading figures in the fields of psychotherapy and trauma, including Janina Fisher and Terry Real, and was among the first therapists in the UK to become certified in both TIST and RLT.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and compassion-based, integrating contemporary neuroscience with depth psychotherapy. Through counselling and psychotherapy, I aim to offer a space where you feel listened to, respected, and supported with warmth, confidence, and without judgement.

Working with Dolma has gifted me with a safe, harbouring and nurturing environment to gently explore the dark parts of my life in order to live better and fuller in the present. Our sessions have helped me detangle my mind and make sense of all the pieces I am.
Every day I am thankful to have found Dolma - a truly thoughtful, empathetic and patient person. She's shaped my understanding of the relationship between brain, body, history, and actions, and in her safe and welcoming space I've been able to rebuild myself with compassion.
Dolma has provided a non-judgemental and compassionate space where I have been able to explore some sensitive issues. Her integrity, openness and encouragement have enabled me to make the changes that have supported my growth.
Dolma has a great way of bringing humour to situations, which allows me to detach and see things in a more lighthearted way. I have felt supported by her during some very challenging times and in the process of finding my own path in life.
My therapy with Dolma provided a space for me to explore some deeply painful memories and work through them. I am now able to accept the past and let go of its control over me. Going through this process with a psychotherapist who supported me at all times with warmth, insight, and understanding made all the difference.
Dolma brings a combination of gentle empathy and insightful questioning to encourage me to look at things differently and ‘with curiosity’... I would definitely recommend her as a therapist ... she brings a lovely warmth and humour to the sessions and the effect is that I feel safe making changes in small, manageable steps.
